Our Leisure Library project has been included in the Journal of Aesthetics and Protest’s contribution to the fifth annual NY Art Book Fair presented by Printed Matter, November 5–7 at MoMA PS1, Long Island City, Queens.
Much like our Contracted Leisure, 2008 our contribution to the JOAAP’s Pamphleteer project during the fair asks that in lieu of monetary payment, we ask that anyone who takes a Leisure Library sign a contract to provide Hideous Beast with either documentation of a Leisure Libraryevent they’ve hosted or contribute a proposal for a new manual to be added toLeisure Library.
We sent 10 copies of our Leisure Library to the fair. Here are some participants:
